Overview
As an Assembly Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling components to create finished products. Your attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work efficiently in a team environment will contribute to the overall success of our production operations.
Your duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Assembly: Perform assembly tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. This includes using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and report any defects or issues promptly to maintain product integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and following proper ergonomic practices.
- Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Continuously look for ways to improve processes and streamline workflows to maximize productivity.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to maintenance personnel for timely resolution.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly. This may include production reports, quality control records, and inventory logs.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred but not required
· Ability to read and interpret work instructions and diagrams
· Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
· Basic math skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
· Willingness to learn and adapt to changing job requirements
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds
· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small parts and tools
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Compensation:
- A base salary ranging from $50,000 to $80,000
